Description
The Hamoki DF-8T is a commercial single-tank countertop fryer with an 8 litre oil capacity, built for cafes, takeaways, food trucks and professional kitchens that need rapid heat-up and consistent results through a full service.
A narrow 290 mm footprint makes it one of the easier commercial fryers to fit into a tight line-up, while the depth carries a full-size tank. It is supplied with a stainless steel night cover to keep the oil clean when the unit is off, and a wire mesh crumb net that catches debris before it reaches the element.

Frequently asked questions
- What electrical supply does this fryer need?
- A single standard 13 amp socket. The unit is rated 3 kW and supplied with a 13 amp plug, so no hard wiring or special circuit is required, though it should not share a socket with other high-draw equipment.
- What is the difference between oil capacity and tank capacity?
- Oil capacity is how much oil you actually fill the fryer with in use. Tank capacity is the total volume of the vessel, which is larger to leave headroom for the oil to rise when food is lowered in. Always fill to the oil capacity mark, never to the top of the tank.
- What is the night cover for?
- The stainless steel night cover sits over the tank when the fryer is off, keeping dust and airborne debris out of the oil overnight. Its Bakelite handle stays cool to the touch.
- Does it have a drain tap?
- Yes. An integrated drain tap lets you empty the oil down into a container rather than lifting and tipping a hot, full tank, which is both safer and faster at cleaning-down time.
- How much counter space does it need?
- The unit is 290 mm wide and 550 mm deep. The narrow width helps it fit into a tight equipment line-up, but allow the full depth plus clearance behind for the plug.
