Privacy notice

Who is responsible for your data

Launchcatering Ltd (trading as Kitchen Equipment UK), 171 South Esk Road, London, E7 8HE, is the controller of personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at launchcatering25@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

• When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive your name, contact details and anything you send us. We use it to answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and, if you buy, to fulfil your order. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
• Your quote list is stored only in your own browser. It is not sent to us unless you choose to send it by WhatsApp or email.
• Website hosting. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the website.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the business: WhatsApp (Meta) or our email provider when you message us, our website host, and — if you order — the supplier and carrier who deliver your equipment. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them, and records of sales for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing launchcatering25@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
